Lima, Ohio (WIMA) - On Thursday- the Allen County Board of Elections held their monthly meeting and a topic was brought up concerning three of their vote counting computers.

Director Ken Terry said that the current computers were purchased around 2003 and are simply not functioning properly anymore.

The three new computers will cost around seventeen hundred dollars- and they will need training for staff that will total another one thousand dollars.

The motion was passed and will go before the Allen County Commissioners for approval of the funds.
