Lima, Ohio (WIMA) - The Lima Economic and Community Development Committee held the first of three Public Hearings going over this year’s proposed allocations for C-D-B-G and Home dollars.

This year they received twenty proposals and anticipate sixteen of them to be funded- with the total dollar amount received from the government equaling one point eight million dollars.

Community Development Director- Amy Odum- explained that as in prior years- C-D-B-G dollars will continue to diminish.

There will be two more public hearings on the matter- one later this month on June 23rd- and the last on taking place on July 7th- before going before Council for approval of final allocations.
