A chain-reaction crash Monday on Interstate 75 south in Auglaize County that involved four semis sent two of the drivers to an area hospital.

The crash occurred around 1:30 p.m. just north of State Route 67 when a commercial semi rear-ended another commercial semi in the construction zone on I-75. That resulted in two more vehicles being involved in the crash.

The State Highway Patrol, the Ohio Department of Transportation, the state emergency management agency as well as fire and E-M-S crews from Wapakoneta, Cridersville and Saint John's were all called to the scene.

The injuries to 2 of the drivers were not considered to be life threatening.

The accident shut down the southbound lanes of I-75 for several hours.
