GRAMMY Salute To Music Legends Airing Friday

Earlier this year a star-studded list of performers came out to celebrate this year’s GRAMMY Lifetime Achievement Award winners and now music fans will finally be able to see what went down.

The fourth annual “GRAMMY Salute to Music Legends,” which taped back in May, is set to air Friday as part of PBS’ Great Performances series. The show pays tribute to such artists as Black Sabbath, Dionne Warwick, George Clinton & Parliament-Funkadelic, Julio Iglesias, Donny Hathaway, Sam & Dave and Billy Eckstine, as well as trustee award winners Lou Adler, Johnny Mandel and Nickolas Ashford &Valerie Simpson.

As for the night’s performers, they included:Garth Brooks, Johnny Mathis, Snoop Dogg, Kenny Lattimore, Pattie Austin and more.
